Description

The SealCoat shellac sanding sealer is designed to seal and protect interior wood surfaces while improving the performance of stains and clear finishes. This 100 percent wax-free shellac formula penetrates deeply into wood pores to create a smooth, sandable surface that enhances stain uniformity and adhesion of topcoats.

Manufactured by Zinsser, this universal sanding sealer is compatible with all clear finishes, including oil-based and water-based polyurethane, lacquer, and varnish. Part # 00851. The 1-gallon size is ideal for cabinetry, trim, furniture, and hardwood floors, and dries quickly, allowing sanding and recoating in as little as 20 to 45 minutes while covering approximately 400 to 600 square feet per gallon, depending on surface conditions.
