Description

The INSL-X Lead Block® Lead Encapsulating Coating (EC-3210) is a high-build, water-based elastomeric acrylic coating designed to seal and encapsulate existing lead-based paint on properly prepared surfaces. When applied, it forms a thick, durable membrane that locks in lead contaminants and prevents them from migrating to the surface.

This professional-grade encapsulant provides excellent adhesion, elongation, and tensile strength, helping it bridge minor surface imperfections while delivering long-term protection. The coating can be used on both interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, trim, and masonry.

Lead Block® also contains Bitrex®, a bitter-tasting anti-ingestant, designed to discourage accidental ingestion in environments where children may be present. The product can be used as a primer or a finish coat and serves as a cost-effective alternative to full lead paint removal
