Stops Rust Rusty Metal Primer Spray Flat Rusty Metal 12 oz
Description
This durable, oil-based primer bonds tightly to rust, drives out corrosive air and moisture that other primers leave behind, and creates a strong foundation for topcoats.
It provides more than twice the rust protection of enamels used alone and is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Featuring Rust-Oleum's Any-Angle Spray System and Comfort Spray Tip, it delivers smooth, even coverage while making hard-to-reach areas easier to coat.
For best Results:
- Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart.
- Allow the primer to dry completely before applying a Stops Rust® topcoat (typically 24 hours).
- Use on heavily rusted metal. For clean or lightly rusted metal, use Rust-Oleum® Stops Rust® Clean Metal Primer instead.
